As I’m sure you are aware, many sports operate a ‘Commonwealth Championships’, and particularly in years when the games are taking place, but the sport in question has not been included for whatever reason – Table Tennis is in that position for 2026. Despite that, the TT Commonwealth Championships is taking place in India, just before the CWG’s themselves. The Scotland teams is made up of 4-male and 4-female players.
I am delighted to say that ASV TT Academy players Kiishi Adekola (RGC) and Maja Wojcicka (Turriff Academy) have both been selected for the Scotland Woman’s Team. This is an incredible achievement for both, remember this is a senior event, and given that Kiishi & Maja are 14 years and 17 years old respectively, it makes their selections even more remarkable!
I can’t overstate enough what a huge achievement this is for both players.
Table Tennis Table Tennis Scotland is delighted to confirm that Scotland will be represented at the Commonwealth Table Tennis Championships in India from 27 July to 2 August.
